Sofie Formica joins 4BC to host Afternoons
Brisbane’s 4BC has announced a further expansion of local content with Sofie Formica to present a new afternoon program.
An established media presenter, Formica will host 4BC Afternoons, Monday to Friday, from 11.00am (time adjusted due to daylight savings) to 3.00pm, covering the breaking news, entertainment, and events that matter most to Brisbane.
4BC Content Manager, Max Dudley, said: “We extend a huge welcome to Sofie as she joins the ranks of our live and local 4BC strategy. Sofie brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that our listeners are going to love.”
Sofie Formica said: “Talk radio is a new frontier for me and I am thrilled to be joining the 4BC family at a really exciting time for our city. Brisbane is my hometown, and this is a great opportunity to engage with listeners, shine a spotlight on our local lifestyle, and focus on the people and businesses that are the backbone of our community.”
Formica’s appointment follows the successful local launches of 4BC Breakfast with Neil Breen, 4BC Drive with Scott Emerson, Peter Psaltis hosting Wide World of Sports, and Bill McDonald and Spencer Howson headlining the local line-up on 4BC Weekends.
4BC Afternoons with Sofie Formica will commence on Monday, October 4, from 11.00am.
