The Latrell Mitchell show rolls on to Thursday Night Footy at 7.30pm this week on Channel 9 and 9Now when the Rabbitohs meet the ladder-leading Panthers in the first of four NRL games Live and Free in Round 23.

Since returning from injury, Mitchell has led the Rabbitohs to six wins in seven games as he looks to avenge their 2021 defeat to the Panthers in the Grand Final he missed through suspension, and keep their late season surge going.

Mitchell had one emphatic message for the rest of competition after last weeks victory, “look over your shoulders, we’re coming. South Sydney.”

Friday Night Footy comes live from Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane where the Broncos get an early taste of finals football from the masters of September success – the Melbourne Storm, whose title hopes have been born again with Cameron Munster’s shift to fullback.

The best commentary team in the game is back for Saturday Night Football when Andrew Johns, Phil Gould, Mat Thompson and Brad Fittler alongside Danika Mason, Ruan Sims and Emma Lawrence showcase the Roosters v Tigers from the Sydney Cricket Ground at 7.00pm.

Then Sunday Footy travels up the M1 to Newcastle for Knights v Raiders as the embattled coach of the Green Machine, Ricky Stuart, returns from a one-game suspension. With the Raiders’ season on a knife edge, expect them to throw caution to the wind in a  daytime fixture that promises to produce enterprising play.
