Leading the action, the Boomers take on Serbia and their star power of Nikola Jokic in the men’s basketball, before the Stingers face Greece in the women’s water polo, culminating with the Aussie women’s beach volleyball duo of Mariafe Artacho del Solar and Taliqua Clancy taking on Switzerland in a showdown underneath the Eiffel Tower.
Teenage hopefuls, 14 year old and 2024 X Games champion Arisa Trew, alongside 15 year old Ruby Trew take over the skatepark in the women’s park event.
Melissa Wu, in her fifth Olympic Games appearance dives for the chance to clinch her first ever gold medal in the women’s 10m platform alongside Ellie Cole, with Kurtis Mathews aiming for a place on the podium in the men’s 3m springboard.
At the velodrome, the Australian men’s and women’s get ready to ride in the thrilling team pursuits, whilst on the track, Olympic debutant Reece Holder races for a spot in the men’s 400m final, and Oceana Mackenzie will fight with grit and determination to make it up the wall in the women’s bouldering event of sport climbing.
