Nine delivers the most addressable Games ever as 9Now breaks viewing records
The Olympic Games Paris 2024 has not only captured the hearts of Australians, it has also demonstrated the power of Total Television, with 9Now breaking all records to make Paris the most addressable Games ever seen in Australia.
Aussies have viewed 426 Million Total Minutes on 9Now – the highest minutes ever consumed – with Paris 2024 showcasing how FTA streaming platforms offer brands a premium, safe environment attracting addressable audiences with serious scale.
The huge numbers consuming the Paris Olympics on 9Now via a Connected Television show how Australians are streaming content live and on demand, and catching the big moments of the Games using all of the functionality of 9Now, including Start Over.
The Olympic Games to date (24/07 – 28/07) has recorded 658 Million minutes across 9Now, with the platform providing an additional 18% incremental reach to the live broadcast channels.
Nearly 13.5 million viewers in total have watched the Games on Nine’s live broadcast, live stream and on demand channels proving the power of Total Television.
On Day 2 of competition, 9Now delivered an 87.7% share of Nine’s key demographic, People 25-54; and an 89.6% share of the valuable People 16-39 demographic.
With 9Now streaming Nine’s dedicated curated Olympic channels – Channel 9 and 9Gem – as well as offering up to 40 live streams to ensure viewers don’t miss a single second of action, there is content for every target demographic.
