Join the Postcards team as they go behind the scenes at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and indulge in glamorous weekend escapes this Sunday at 5.30pm on Nine and 9Now.

It’s all colour, couture and class as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week arrives in Sydney and Brodie Harper has an all-access pass for an exclusive backstage tour. This spectacular six-day affair celebrates the very latest in Australian fashion, with our best designers showcasing their collections to a global audience of buyers and key industry figures. Brodie talks to the style-setters and gets the latest intel on the hottest trends this season.

Back home, Rebecca Judd arrives at the Bendigo Art Gallery to explore the latest blockbuster exhibition, Tudors to Windsors: British Royal Portraits. The exhibition features paintings, photos, historical garments and accessories depicting the life and times of five royal dynasties: the Tudors, Stuarts, Georgians, Victorians and Windsors. Bec continues her right-royal experience at high tea, enjoying a glass of bubbles and an assortment of delicious treats. 

Sam Groth sets off on a weekend escape to the Red Hill region on the Mornington Peninsula to reveal the secrets behind a perfect wine-and-dine experience. He starts at the Montalto restaurant, which is just over an hour’s drive from Melbourne, making it a great driving option for Sunday lunch. Sam then pulls into the Port Phillip Estate Winery for a bit of wine tasting and checks out the Cellar Door Kitchen. A little further up the road he finds Foxey’s Hangout – a boutique winery where you can sample a selection of small dishes that are perfection matched with a glass of their signature wine.  

And Lauren Phillips is in ever-popular Daylesford this weekend: discovering Koukla, a top spot for coffee lovers, and Bowen & Kenneth, a homewares boutique around the corner specialising in vintage-inspired décor and furnishings. Co-owners Sam and John started the business after Sam had life-changing brain surgery and the boys realised life’s too short not to do what you love. Now one dollar from every sale goes to research for the Brain Foundation. Finally, Lauren checks out Clifftop at Hepburn, which offers a luxury glamping experience that’s perfect for a romantic weekend.
