Bec Hewitt continues her New Zealand adventures in the south island city of Christchurch, known for its dramatic geographical features. Bec jumps on the Christchurch Gondola to take in the breathtaking scenery before visiting the charming seaside village Akaroa and stopping by The Little Bistro to try the local mussels.
Actor Matt Wilson discovers the best place to relax in Thailand as he checks out the luxurious, five-star Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa in Merlin Beach. After popping into the butterfly sanctuary and three spectacular outdoor pools it’s off to Karon Beach, a hidden gem, and the cultural delights of the always popular Bangla Road.
Lauren Phillips hits the latest food hot spots in vibrant Adelaide, beginning at the Adelaide Central Market, a bustling food mecca with more than 70 traders. In need of a caffeine hit, Lauren heads to Lucia’s Fine Foods for coffee and cake, and pops by Something Wild, a store which specialises in indigenous fare. Her food tour doesn’t end there, as she dines at Orana, the 2018 Gourmet Traveller Restaurant of the Year, and samples cocktails at the funky Clever Little Tailor.
Meanwhile our man in Europe, Vince Sorrenti, says bonjour to the south of France as he learns the best way to explore the coast – on the APT AmaCello cruise ship. First stop is the picturesque city of Arles where he calls into the Moulin du Calanquet Olive Mill for an olive tasting. Next up is Avignon in the gorgeous French countryside as Vince jumps on a bike to see the strikingly gothic Le Palais des Papes, The Palace of the Popes.
