Nine’s Drought Relief Appeal Continues to Fight for Farmers
Charities on the frontline of Australia’s drought crisis will receive much-needed help thanks to the latest funding allocation from Nine’s FIGHTING FOR OUR FARMERS Drought Relief Appeal, which has raised more than $10 million.
Donations of all amounts have been coming in from far and wide to help those affected by the country’s worst drought in 100 years, with every cent received with the utmost gratitude. All donations are being administered by Rotary Australia and distributed to drought-affected farmers with the aid of the National Farmers’ Federation.
The latest allocation of $1,982,600 million – on top of the $2.5 million already allocated – has been announced, with a host of organisations handed funds to continue to undertake their amazing work.
A detailed breakdown of where donations have been made, is here.
The Drought Relief Appeal has so far allocated $4,482,600 million, targeted directly to organisations that are on the frontline of the crisis. Further funding announcements will be made in the coming weeks.
Donations can be made at Today Show or inside any Westpac branch until September 30.
