9News launches intern program
For more than 65 years, Australians have turned to Nine for trusted, dependable and credible news reported by the country’s most respected journalists.
Now the next generation of talented television journalists will have the opportunity to work in Nine’s cutting edge newsroom, with 9News today announcing the launch of a TV News Internship at its Sydney headquarters.
The three-month program is designed to discover the next generation of television journalists and producers, covering all aspects of TV News from news-gathering to writing, editing and production. The program entails working across all 9News bulletins, including news on Today.
Importantly, this is a paid internship.
Sydney News Director Simon Hobbs says: “This is a golden opportunity to work in the biggest newsroom in the southern hemisphere, with hands-on learning from the best in the business. The successful candidate will have potential for long-term employment with Nine.
