Talk Radio has dominated the latest radio ratings with Melbourne’s 3AW and Sydney’s 2GB once again their cities most listened to radio stations.

GFK Survey 3 2021 shows 3AW’s Breakfast team Ross & Russel remain No.1 with a share of 20.6% almost 10 points clear of their nearest rival.

In Sydney, 2GB Breakfast host Ben Fordham, who today celebrates his first anniversary in the shift, retains his place as Sydney’s No.1 with a 13.5% share.

Perth’s 6PR has posted record Survey 3 results, with its best cumulative figure in 15 years (Survey 3, 2006), while in Brisbane, 4BC Breakfast host Neil Breen has grown his audience share by more than 10%.

2GB 873 is #1 in Sydney with an audience share of 11.7%. This is 2GB’s 133rd consecutive survey win.

• Ben Fordham Live is celebrating his first year in the timeslot as Sydney’s #1 Breakfast show with 13.5%.
• The Ray Hadley Morning Show is No.1 with 14.2%. This is Ray’s 133rd consecutive survey win.
• Afternoons with Deborah Knight had a share of 8.8%. (Mon-Fri 12.00pm-3.00pm)
• Drive with Jim Wilson recorded a 6.3% share (3.00pm-6.00pm).
• Nights with John Stanley is No.1 with a 21.1% share (Mon-Thurs 8.00pm-12am).
• Money News with Brooke Corte recorded a share of 9.6%, up 0.4 points (Mon-Thurs 7.00pm-8.00pm)
• 2GB Weekends is No.1 (including The Garden Clinic, Chris Smith and The Continuous Call Team) with a share of 12.3%.

3AW is Melbourne’s #1 radio station with an audience share of 15.6%

• 3AW Breakfast with Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft is No.1 with of 20.6%, a total of 224 wins for 3AW Breakfast (5.30am-8.30am).
• Neil Mitchell is No.1 in Mornings with a share of 18.4% (8.30am-12.00pm).
• Dee Dee Dunleavy had a share of 11.7% in afternoons (12.00pm – 3.00pm).
• Tom Elliott is No.1 in Drive with a 14.6% share (3.00pm-6.00pm).
• Denis Walter is No.1 at night with a share of 19.9% (8.00pm–12.00am).
• Weekends is No.1 with 13.5% (including Darren James and 3AW Football)

4BC 1116 posts audience growth with share rising to 6.4% (up 0.4 points) among all people 10+

• Breakfast with Neil Breen up 1.0 point to 8.2%.
• The Ray Hadley Morning Show had a 7.9% share (9.00am-12.]00am).
• Afternoons with Deborah Knight with a 5.4% share (12.00pm – 3.00pm).
• Drive with Scott Emerson had a share of 3.6% (3.00-6.00pm).
• Nights with John Stanley is No.1 with a 16.6% share (Mon-Thurs 8.00pm-12.00am).

6PR 882 had a strong survey 3 with a 9.5% share – up 0.2 points – with its best cumulative audience in 15 years (survey 3, 2006).

• Breakfast with Gareth Parker recorded a 11.3% share for his third survey in the timeslot. It remains Perth’s No.1 Breakfast talk show.
• Mornings with Liam Bartlett had a 11.4% share (up 1.4 points). The show continues to be Perth’s No.1 Mornings talk show.
• Steve Mills in afternoons recorded a share of 9.3%. (Mon-Fri 12.00pm-3.00pm)
• Perth Live with Oliver Peterson lifted its audience with an 7.1% share (Mon-Thurs 3.00pm-6.00pm; Fri 3.00pm-5.45pm).
• The Nightshift with Tod Johnston drew a share of 13.4% for his second survey up 3.2 points (Mon-Fri 8.00pm-12.00MN).
